Aurora Bar and Lounge and Hotel Dene

Aurora Bar and Lounge

Aurora Bar and Lounge is the restaurant, bar and lounge of Casino Dene. It also has a stage. The room is non-smoking and open only to adults 18 and over. Breakfast is served all day, seven days a week, so it can be ordered at supper time too.

Casino Dene does not publish separate hours for the lounge, its table games or its poker. To check when food is served, call the casino at 780-594-7900. Holiday hours are not published, so call before a holiday visit too. A Winner's Edge card, shown at the lounge, gives 10% off a meal. Winner's Edge is AGLC's casino rewards card, used across Alberta.

Weekend entertainment

Casino Dene puts on live entertainment every weekend, and there is no charge to see it. This guide does not list dates or the names of acts. For what is coming up, check the events page on the casino's own website, casinodene.com. Aurora Bar and Lounge has a stage, but the events page is where the details of each show appear.

Hotel Dene across the lot

Hotel Dene & Conference Centre stands directly across the casino parking lot. It has its own website, hoteldene.com, separate from the casino's site.

The hotel lists three room types. The first is a Guest Room with 1 King bed and a sofa bed. The second is a Guest Room with 2 Queen beds. The third, the King Suite, has a sofa bed and a separate living area. It also has a microwave, a fridge and a walk-in shower.

King guest rooms have a work desk and complimentary high-speed internet. Queen rooms have complimentary Wi-Fi. The hotel does not publish a room count. This guide gives no room prices; check hoteldene.com for those.
